Dr. Bobi Yang is a North Carolina native who brings advanced clinical training and a patient-centered approach to Metrolina Eye Associates. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Professional
Dr. Yang completed clinical rotations in a variety of settings, including private practices, the Salisbury VA Medical Center, and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, where she gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions. While practicing in Charleston, South Carolina, she was voted Best Optometrist in the 2026 HealthLinks Best in Health awards.
Special Interests
Dr. Yang sees patients at Metrolina Eye Associates’ Indian Land and Rock Hill locations. Her clinical interests include comprehensive eye care for patients ages 8 and older, management of ocular disease, and personalized dry eye treatment.
Personal Background
Outside the office, Dr. Yang enjoys exploring America’s national parks with the goal of visiting all 63, watching horror movies, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her dog, Willow.
