Education: Dr. Shivali Desai pursued her undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston in Business Administration. She then graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2012 and was a recipient of the Clinical Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy award, as well as the Award for Excellence in Low Vision.
Professional: Dr. Desai is a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina Optometric Society and Piedmont Optometric Society.
Special Interests: She currently treats and/or manages patients with various vision issues, diabetic retinopathy, different stages of glaucoma as well as an array of eye infections. She also fits a multitude of toric and multifocal lenses in addition to hard lenses for keratoconus.
Personal Background: Dr. Desai was born and raised in South Carolina but is a passionate Florida Gators sports fan. Her free time is enjoyed with friends, family, music and movies.
