Mishali Patel, OD
Education: Dr. Patel completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Patel completed externships at Walter Reed National Military Center and Cedar Springs Eye Clinic, with training in managing Ocular disease, specialty contact lens fittings, Dry Eye, and co-managing cataract surgery care.
Professional: Dr. Patel is a member of the American Optometric Association and the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association. Dr. Patel is able to provide exams in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Spanish.
Special Interests: Dr. Patel specializes in comprehensive eye exams for all ages. She manages patients with Ocular diseases such as Diabetes, Glaucoma, Dry eye, and specialty contact lens fits for Keratoconus patients. She also fits a wide range of soft contact lenses including astigmatism correcting lenses, multifocal lenses, and Misight lenses for Myopia control.
Personal: Dr. Patel moved to North Carolina from Texas where she obtained her Optometry degree. She grew up in England and now lives in the Steele Creek area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and traveling.
