Metrolina Eye Associates is a full-service eye care practice. Our group of eye doctors provide both ophthalmology and optometry services to patients of all ages. Our services include: LASIK surgery, cataract surgery, diabetes eye exams and treatment, glaucoma, pediatric eye care, eyelid surgery, dry eye, macular degeneration, and retina. We also provide routine eye exams and have full service optical shops that carry a wide variety of glasses and contacts.

We take a very personal approach with every patient and are committed to serving our community. We are the only eye doctors that provide emergency room coverage for the area. Our team also consists of the only Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Adult Eye Muscle Specialist in the South Charlotte, Matthews, and Monroe area (learn more about Dr. Melissa Shipley).
