Education: Dr. Kalie Leone received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Bioethics from the University of Virginia. She then went on to The Ohio State University College of Optometry to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Professional: Dr. Leone is board-certified in Optometry and has completed an Ocular Disease Residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. While at the University of Virginia, she was part of the Pre-Optometry club and worked in the UVA Health System in the Ophthalmology department. Dr. Leone has also spent time working as an Ophthalmic testing technician in Virginia.
Special Interest: Dr. Leone specializes in comprehensive eye exams for adults and children ages 14 and up. She is able to provide eye exams in Spanish and manages patients with Ocular diseases such as Diabetes and Glaucoma.
Personal: Dr. Leone enjoys traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants. She resides in the South End neighborhood with her significant other, Kurt, and their golden retriever, Spencer.
