I have worn glasses since I was in the 2nd grade. I was told my eyes would level off when I turned 18. but they didn’t. I was -13.00 and had Astigmatism. When I went to contacts because my glasses were so thick I could only wear the hard ones. Dr. Mac introduced me to the ReSTOR lens and I now have perfect vision. My whole life has changed!!

I chose LASIK because I was tired of dealing with contacts which weren’t comfortable. I wanted to see well all the time. I have a very demanding job in the medical field…. I saw LASIK as an investment in myself. The surgery was easier than I thought. The fact that you actually met the doctor through the whole process from Day 1 introduction till the end, makes a huge difference. This is the best clinic of all medical facilities and friendliest staff around.Don’t wait years – just do it! Words can’t describe the feeling. I am just ecstatic with the whole place. Dr. Mac and his staff are wonderful and the procedure is easy & painless. I highly recommend anyone wanting to see without glasses and contacts….you are at the right place. Before I came to Metrolina Eye Associates, my vision was horrible! Dr. Mac met with me and informed me about Laser Eye Surgery. I had very bad astigmatism in both eyes and he was able to correct my vision and now I am seeing 20/20 in both eyes.
